Be aware that the A/B does not mean the more familiar Type A/Mini-B connectors. This cable's 'B' end is the full size, square 'Type B' a few USB-connected peripherals may require.I thought I would use one of these with my new 'white' Asus to connect it with an external drive but, in the end, I returned the Asus and now I'm stuck with the cable :)To conclude: it's good as a color-coordinated cable to work with or between 2 white devices of which one accepts a full-size Type B connector and for which a white USB cable wasn't supplied in the first place. The price is right if combined with Amazon's free shipping on $25+ bundles.
I like this cable it works well hooking my printer to my computer and it came very quickly.
I wonder if others found the same problem b/c Amazon's site suggests that a lot of people purchased both at the same time. I bought this at the same time I purchased a Cables to Go 7 port USB 2.0 Hub. Unfortunately, the products aren't compatible. I did send an email to Cables to Go and they responded pretty quickly w/ the type of cable I'd need to buy. I don't think returning the one I bought would be worth the S&H though.
I chose to buy this item on a hunch in conjunction with two other items. Now I see why; it is easy to maintain, all other affiliated products are reasonably priced, and easy to find. The waiting for arrival was short, but seemingly long only to me. I was anxious to try it out because an ex-employer swears by the equipment in his office. I would definitely recommend this item to all with a five star rating. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.
This product is exacaly what I wanted. I had visited other websites, local stores and national chains looking for this cable and found them at 4 to 8 times the cost. I am pleased with the product and will order again from this seller.
